  • Dark Fishing Spider (Dolomedes tenebrosus)
  • White-banded Fishing Spider (Dolomedes albineus)
  • Wolf Spider (Tigrosa georgicola)
  • Wolf Spider (Hogna lenta)
  • Long-jawed Orb-weaver (Tetragnatha spp.)
  • Golden-silk Orb-weaver (Trichonephila clavipes)
  • Giant Lichen Orb-weaver (Araneus bicentenarius)
  • Marbled Orb-weaver (Araneus marmoreus)
  • Black and Yellow Garden Spider (Argiope aurantia)
  • Redfemured Spotted Orb-weaver (Neoscona domiciliorum)
  • Tropical Orb-weaver (Eriophora ravilla)
  • Southern House Spider (Kukulcania hibernalis)
  • Spiny-backed Orb-weaver (Gasteracantha cancriformis)
  • Mabel's Orchard Orb-weaver (Leucauge argyrobapta)

  • Red Bugs (Trombicula sp, fortunately Red Bugs do not like the swamp itself but can be present in the surrounding hardwood forests - Red Bugs actually don't particularly care for Spanish Moss over any other ground debris!)
  • Deer Tick (Ixodes scapularis, just like red bugs, deer ticks do not favor the swamp but can be found in the surrounding area)
